Peru surpasses 66 tons of blueberry exports

The campaign has accumulated 66.737 tons, 65% more than in the same period of 2025/26 and slightly above the August projection. The United States remains the main destination, and La Libertad accounts for nearly half of the shipments.

Peru has accumulated 66.737 tons of blueberries Exports up to week 33 of the 2026/27 season represent a 65% increase compared to the 40.502 tons recorded during the same period of the previous season. In week 33 alone, 12.355 tons were shipped, compared to 9.727 tons in the same week of 2025/26, representing a growth of nearly 27%. This result also exceeded the 11.448 tons projected in the August forecast for that week.

The United States maintains its leadership

The United States continues to be the main market for the blueberry Peruvian, with 28.945 tons and a 43% share. The volume destined for that market grows 114% compared to the same period of the previous season.

Europe ranks second, with 17.189 tons, equivalent to 26% of shipments, and registers a year-on-year increase of 93%. China remains in third position with 9.694 tons and a 15% share, although its cumulative total remains 19% below the 2025/26 target.

The so-called other destinations total 7.533 tons, 66% more than in the previous campaign, while the United Kingdom reaches 3.376 tons and grows 123%.

La Libertad accounts for almost half of the shipments

La Libertad remains the main region of origin, with 32.843 tons and 49% of the exported volume. blueberriesThey are followed by Lambayeque, with 11.698 tons and 18%, and Ica, with 11.494 tons and 17%.

The difference between these last two regions is just over 200 tons, while Áncash and Lima reach shares of 8% and 7%, respectively.

Shipping continues to dominate the dispatches of blueberries Peruvians. Up to week 33, it moved 62.170 tons, equivalent to 93% of the total. Air transport represents 6%, with 4.137 tons, and land transport the remaining 1%.

The updated August curve anticipates a progressive increase in volumes over the next few weeks, so the move towards the period of greatest supply will allow us to continue comparing the actual performance of the campaign with the current projections.
