"Investment in agricultural land has gained relevance in recent years due to the stability and profitability offered by this sector, especially in Chile and Peru," said Cardemil.
A Boost for Peruvian Agro-Export
The objective of Agrotrade Perú is to publicize alternatives to expand Peru's export basket, supporting Peruvian fruit growth through the new genetics and technologies that Chilean agricultural nurseries and suppliers have. This high-level event offers a unique opportunity to establish and strengthen strategic commercial relationships between Peru and Chile.
Sponsorships and Strategic Alliances
The seminar is sponsored by important organizations such as ADEX Peru, AGAP and the Peruvian Chilean Chamber of Commerce, which highlights the importance and relevance of this event for the industry. In addition, "Agronight Perú" will be held, an exclusive networking activity that will allow Peruvian and Chilean companies in the agro-export chain to meet and share ideas in an environment conducive to the development of new business opportunities.
A Promising Future for Plant Trade
The Chilean Nursery Association (AGV), organizer of the event, has been key in promoting exports of fruit plants and in creating strategic alliances that have allowed Chile to position itself as a leader in the international market. In 2022, Chile exported more than 61.500.000 plants to various destinations, with Peru being one of the main markets, with about 45% of Chilean plant exports.
