Hail in Concordia
The dawn of the 16 of September registered a storm of hail in the city of Concordia.
According to information provided to Portalfrutícola.com, the Association of Blueberry Producers of Mesopotamia Argentina (APAMA) confirmed that although the damage to blueberry crops had been minor, it could be quantified beforehand a decrease of 5% percent with respect to the initial volume estimated for the region.
Meanwhile, the ABC specified that this week the losses could be better specified, but that the impact on the total volume of Argentina would be less than 2% since the range in which the hail occurred was not so wide and affected plants in different phenological stages, among them, some varieties still in flowering stage.
