Argentina: Blueberry producers seek to strengthen the domestic market

APAMA and APRATUC reinforce their relationships. Therefore, the president of the Association of Blueberry Producers of the Mesopotamia Argentina visited his peers in Tucumán this week, to define common themes of the upcoming institutional agendas and strengthen the links to face joint actions in order to strengthen the internal market of blueberries, key aspect still to be developed in the country.

Although the entities have been working together for some time now, they decided to strengthen institutional relations and even considered that the technical seminars of the sector, which APAMA has traditionally organized for seven years and will be the next 25 and 26 in June in Concordia, they are carried out alternatively between the NOA and the NEA.

Among the topics that were discussed, they also spoke about investments in technology, research and development, an area in which APAMA is a pioneer. The technical days of APAMA will be the next days 25 and 26 of June, and will bring together blueberry producers from all over the country and the region, especially from Chile and Uruguay, and also to students and professionals linked to the sector.

This year the conference will include a novel proposal that will be released in the coming days, organized in conjunction with the Secretariat of Production and Labor of the Municipality of Concordia.

The meeting between the entities of the NOA and the NEA participated by APAMA, its president, Omar Chiarello, and by APTRATUC its manager, Guillermo Olivera, along with the president, Luis D'andrea, the vice president, Fernando Prado, and members of the Commission Directive. The meeting was at the headquarters that the Tucuman entity has in the town of Yerba Buena.
