According to information from the Association of Fruit Exporters of Chile AG (ASOEX), so far in the development of the current export season (September 01, 2020 to February 15, 2021) Chile has sent to the different markets of the world 979.180 tons of fresh fruits, with an increase of 7,14% compared to the same period of the 2019-2020 financial year.

As for the markets, the Far East is the main destination, with the reception of 432.474 tons, and an increase of 31,29%, followed by the United States with 257.104 tons, and a decrease of 18,46%.

In third place, Latin America is positioned with 137.559 tons and a growth of 12,77%, followed by Europe with 133.987 tons, and a decrease of 18,04% compared to the previous season.

Canada has received 15.046 tons of fresh Chilean fruits to date, a decrease of 6,88%. Finally, the Middle East has received 3.010 tons, reflecting a decrease of 3,33% compared to the same period of the 2019-2020 season.
