Bayer and Fresón de Palos join forces to use the most modern AI technology through ResiYou
The Huelva-based Fresón de Palos cooperative is a pioneer in the use of ResiYou, a digital platform that predicts the dissipation of phytosanitary product residues. It allows for the optimization of treatment programs in the field and improved access to export markets, creating value throughout the food chain.
The cooperative's members will be able to find out more details and ask questions to Bayer's representatives at the event that will take place at the Fresón de Palos stand at Fruit Attraction (hall 9, cost 9D04) on October 8 at noon.

About ResiYou
Plant protection regulations are the subject of debate both at national and EU level. The current CAP already provides for measures aimed at reducing these chemicals and implementing integrated pest management. These regulations aim to ensure sufficient, healthy and sustainable agricultural production. They also aim to prevent crops from developing resistance to these pesticides.
ResiYou is a digital tool that allows you to predict in real time the dissipation of residues of phytosanitary active ingredients present in fruits and vegetables.

It is an application with a very intuitive interface, which makes it easy to use. The program is based on artificial intelligence models that consider climatic data of the area and the evolution of the crop's biomass. ResiYou also takes into account the expected harvest date and the supermarket or platform of destination to improve product traceability.
Available for strawberry crops
For now, Bayer has developed this tool for strawberry, stone and seed fruit, grape and tomato crops and plans to expand to other crops in 2025.
To manage phytosanitary residues in strawberries, all you have to do is upload the required data from the plot and the application. ResiYou will then make predictions about the harvest in real time.
This tool also allows simulations to be carried out before phytosanitary treatment and to compare their results. In this way, the farmer can choose the treatment strategy that is most effective and generates the least waste. ResiYou also includes a calendar that helps to quickly identify plots ready for harvesting, based on pre-selected parameters. Thus, the application ensures that the products arrive at their destination in the best conditions and in a sustainable manner.
