Chile: Fire would be extinguished almost in its entirety in the O'Higgins region, informed Minister Furche
About 379 thousand hectares have been burned in Chile after the fierce fires that the country has suffered for a few days.
While many fires are still being fought in different regions, the fire decided to give a respite to the O'Higgins region, where it would be practically extinct in its entirety.

This was reported by the Minister of Agriculture, Carlos Furche, who is also the presidential delegate of the area.
Regarding the aid, about 800 farmers nationwide received it, while in O'Higgins 160 farmers have already been assisted.
"This is good news for the region that is gradually normalizing its activities, especially for the most affected provinces, Colchagua and Cardenal Caro, because the fire is almost completely extinguished and now we are going to be able to concentrate - we already are. doing, even more efficiently - in the task of helping the people who were injured"Said the Minister.
Furche explained that the sanitary operations are working and that the forage distribution began five days ago, which he hopes to complete by midweek to guarantee the feeding of the cattle in the next three months.
On irrigation issues, he announced that the CNR contemplates resources for up to $ 6.350 million that will allow farmers affected by forest fires to apply for multipurpose water accumulators and irrigation infrastructure.
It should be noted that, this week the feed for animals would be fully covered and that for this Monday and Tuesday there are several deliveries programs in sectors of the communes of Lolol, Marchigüe, Santa Cruz, Chépica and Litueche.
