Fall Creek's Field + Forum in Mexico 2025 begins with news

This January 15 and 16, Fall Creek's new edition of Field + Forum will be held in Guadalajara, Mexico, where it annually presents its new blueberry varieties to producers from different countries and representatives from various areas of the industry. In this case, these varieties require zero cold, and for the first time, commercial raspberry varieties.

The first day of the event will take place entirely at Hacienda El Carmen and will be inaugurated by Cort Brazelton and Miguel Santillán, CO-CEO and GM of Fall Creek respectively.

Call for papers

This will be followed by a presentation entitled “Considerations for maximizing success in a new blueberry project,” a topic of interest to producers from different countries. The program continues with the presentation “Measuring costs, efficiency in operating expenses and target yields in blueberry cultivation in Mexico.”

After a break and an extensive tasting of Fall Creek's advanced varieties and selections, the interesting Agronometrics talk "Statistics on production and export of blueberries from Mexico and its main competitors" will take place, continuing the day with the Rabobank presentation: "Financing options for blueberry projects."

After a working lunch, the event's schedule will resume with an interesting talk on the "Chilean blueberry industry, present and future." It should be noted that in all the talks and presentations there will be a space for questions from attendees, in order to satisfy all their concerns, whether technical, agronomic or commercial, depending on the topic.

Second day

The first day will close with a Welcome Cocktail, where attendees and Fall Creek executives will be able to mingle and further strengthen commercial and professional ties with the industry, sharing their production, technical, field or commercial experiences.

On Thursday, January 16, the activity will move and begin with a visit to the Fall Creek Nursery in Tala, Jalisco, which will begin with a breakfast reception and a complete tour of the different nursery facilities, visiting the multiple plots where the seedlings are located, and then a visit to the demo, to complete a tour of the millions of plants of different varieties that the company has available to producers and the global industry.

Raspberry

At mid-morning, the attendees and hosts will travel to the El Carmen area to visit raspberry production facilities in the Jalisco region. After this tour, they will go out into the countryside, where they will be able to see the plants in full production process, the different management methods and everything related to field production.

The Field+ Forum of Mexico 2025 closes with a picnic at Agrícola Moray, where Fall Creek attendees and hosts will be able to share experiences about the double day and about the products, talks, topics and places visited during this extensive and always interesting day to which Fall Creek annually invites Mexican and foreign fruit producers and entrepreneurs.
