Denmark is the largest buyer of Dutch blueberries in the first half of 2020

According to figures provided by the Netherlands Quality Control Office (KCB) and the fruit and vegetable association GroentenFruithuis, Dutch blueberry exports follow an upward trend in the first half of 2020. Exports totaled 100.537 kilos, 38% more than 2019.

El ranking of the top three buying countries has changed. While Norway was the largest buyer of Dutch blueberries last year, this year neighboring Denmark is in the lead with the purchase of 25.049 kilos. Great Britain remains in the top 3 by importing 38% more Dutch blueberries (23.951 kg) than in 2019. Germany has left the top 3 and has been replaced by the Czech Republic, which imported 13.011 kg.
