Europe: Cranberry and round fruit sorters at Fruit Logistica

Ser.mac asIt will attend Fruit Logistica 2016 in Hall 4.1, Stand A-11, to exhibit its machinery and plants for the processing of fruit and vegetables.

The managers of the company, who will receive visitors at the fair, are: the owners Stefano Crociani and Enrico Prosapio, as well as the sales managers Iacopo Gemma, Vilmer Guidazzi and Alessandro Pasi.

This year, Ser.mac will exhibit two sorters: Daytona Blueberry and CA.RO. 40.

The first is an innovative line for processing cranberries. The sorter guarantees excellent results while maintaining high quality standards and an extremely accurate selection. The electronic sorter Daytona Blueberry allows you to select fruit with maximum precision and, at the same time, reduce labor costs.

Agrovision technology allows the selection of a product that meets the external and internal standards required by the market. The entire system is managed through a single intuitive interface developed with the latest and fully customizable software.

The CA.RO. 40 was designed and developed by Ser.mac to maintain high productivity standards and is specific for round fruits and vegetables. Its distinctive element is the CA.RO. cup (patented), which allows multiple rotations of the fruit during the classification. The electronic system of the sorter allows the analysis of the exterior quality thanks to high resolution cameras that detect defects such as rot, cuts and hail marks.

The company's managers have explained to FreshPlaza: «Despite the crisis, we are growing and our objective is to expand in the international market. For us, quality derives from attention, selection and experience. "That is why we are always working on new classification processes for all types of products in order to satisfy the demands of our partners and customers."
