Export of blueberries to the Spanish market generated more growth at 400%
09/07/2015
The Peruvian blueberry joins agricultural products - such as quinoa and avocados - that have increased their shipments to the Spanish market during the first four months of the current year.
According to data provided by the Commercial Office of Peru in Madrid (OCEX Madrid), blueberry exports to Spain totaled US $ 41,890 within the indicated period, which has represented an acceleration of 426% compared to the same period in 2014.
The promotions made by OCEX Madrid about the benefits of cranberry and the inclination of Spanish consumers for exotic fruits, have generated a greater demand in the domestic market of that country.
