Peruvian export of blueberries grew 72% in the first half of the year

During the first half of the year the company Camposol SA became the main Peruvian exporter of blueberries with placements worth US $ 26.160.000. The 'Top 5' was completed with Hortifrut - Tal SAC (US $ 20.341.000), Hortifrut-Perú SAC (US $ 11.209.000), HFE Berries Perú SAC (US $ 5.178.000) and Agrícola Santa Azul SAC (US $ 3.137.000).

According to information presented by the Agrodata Peru portal, our country exported between January and June of 2019 a total of 14.887.753 kilos of the fruit for a FOB value of US $ 86.109.567. The figures reveal a significant boom from the 8.558.733 kilos shipped abroad in the same period of 2018 for a value then of US $ 50.275.869, that is to say 72% growth.
