Fruit Logistica: Peru seeks to exceed US$ 200 million in business

The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (Promperú) led the Peruvian delegation at Fruit Logistica, the world's leading fair specialized in fruit and vegetables, in which it hopes to exceed 200 million dollars in business expectations and He explained that this exhibition, which was held from February 8 to 10 in Berlin (Germany), made it possible to present the best of the exportable offer of companies from various regions of the country.

In this important fair platform, the promoting entity begins the 2023 strategy that seeks to position Peru as the main producer of fresh food with differential advantages in Europe, and that will allow us to show off our leadership in agrobiodiversity, our export capacity and the quality of our products .

In this edition, 20 exporting companies and 5 unions from the country participated. The main objective of the Peruvian participation is to exceed 200 million dollars in business expectations.

Additionally, it is an opportunity to demonstrate to potential foreign clients that Peru is a reliable and responsible strategic partner in their business plans.

Among the Peruvian offer, products such as avocado, blueberry, mango, citrus, turmeric, asparagus, banana were exhibited; as well as the regional supply of pineapple, kion, turmeric, granadilla, pomegranate; and others, such as the new Peruvian offer, be it dates, figs, aguaymanto, pitahaya, and cherries.
