Within the activities of the XXXIII International Red Fruit Seminar Morocco 2024, the Technical Tour was carried out in the North of the country, which was attended by some of the international specialists who participated in the Seminar presentations and foreign producers of various nationalities, together with the Blueberries Consulting team, visiting several fields of red fruits in the Larache area, where they found enriching realities regarding the behavior of some varieties and were surprised by the projections of the Moroccan berry industry, the effectiveness of management, the use of technology and the professionalization of the actors involved in production, in addition to public support and privileged geographical conditions compared to the European, Middle Eastern and Asian markets.

During the tour, the specific behavior of various varieties of blueberries was observed, including Sekoya Pop, Olympus, Mayra, Kirra, varieties from the Costa group, Corina, Rosita, Cascade, Eterna, Madeira, Manila, among others.

The Moroccan industry is showing great prospects, not only for continued growth, but also for a high level of efficiency in management and results, in terms of quantity and quality of fruit, so that the progress of Morocco's good positioning in the European market will be quickly replicated in its other commercial objectives, which are entry into the Middle East and, above all, the Chinese market.
