North American Strawberry Growers Association visits Plus Berries farm facility

Last Tuesday, March 5, the North America Strawberries Growers Association made a visit to the agricultural facilities of Plus Berries in Huelva. This event was part of an iInternational exchange aimed at exploring excellent agricultural practices and share knowledge between the different berry-producing regions.

Visit to the AgroMartín company

The visit began at the 'El Bosque' farm, located in Lucena del Puerto owned by the company 'Forest Farmer', known for its commitment to growing and harvesting high-quality blackberries. Members of the North America Strawberries Growers Association had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the advanced techniques used in the production of blackberries, as well as the rigorous quality standards that are maintained at each stage of the process. In addition, a tour of the entire farm was carried out and a series of talks about it, in which a round of questions were asked.

The next day, members visited the 'Vascogil' farm, belonging to the AgroMartín company, located in Lepe. 'Vascogil' is recognized for its dedication to growing and harvesting strawberries premium. During the visit, members of the North America Strawberries Growers Association were able to familiarize themselves with the Innovative cultivation techniques and management strategies that make strawberry production so successful, in addition to having the opportunity to see the facilities.

Both producers, Agrícola del Bosque and Agromartin, they are part from Plus Berries, a leading company in the berry industry that offers high quality products internationally. North American Strawberry Growers Association visit highlights importance of the exchange of knowledge and experiences between different berry producing regions, with the aim of promoting excellence in agriculture and meeting the demands of the global market.
