Arnaud from Lacour:

The Moroccan blueberry campaign was regular in terms of volume and price

"We still have two or three weeks of marketing left, but with the problems linked to the weather conditions that production is experiencing lately, the campaign could end at any time," reports Arnaud, from Lacour, a company present at the Rungis MIN, referring to the Moroccan blueberry campaign.

A campaign that started 4 months ago and was generally positive. “We are satisfied with the quality of the merchandise we receive. We have been working with this origin for 4-5 years for blueberries and raspberries. We prefer it to Spain because it is earlier, the varieties produced have a better size and are better worked. There is also more regularity in the volumes, which is an undeniable advantage for our clients”.

Regular volumes for this Moroccan season, associated with prices that have also remained relatively stable throughout the campaign. “Of course, there are periods when blueberries sell better than others. But the fact of having this regularity with our suppliers and our partner who imports blueberries to us in terms of quality, volumes and prices has allowed our customers to follow us throughout the entire campaign."

In addition to blueberries, Lacour also offers imported grapes, a whole range of exotic fruits, tomatoes, kiwis, aubergines, citrus fruits, melons, watermelons and red berries.
