The renewed line of packaging of blueberries of LBP, ready for use
At LBP Rotterdam, in Maasdijk, the new touches of the new blueberry packaging line are being finalized. Last season, the company began packing blueberries from different origins. With these first experiences last year and in response to the wishes of customers, LBP has decided to improve the blueberry packaging line for this second year, making the necessary adjustments that will guarantee even better results for the next season.
For bulk boxes, several classifiers check the color of the fruit, its hardness and its size. Then there is a manual control, after which the blueberries are packaged completely automatically in the desired container, to which the requested labels are added. The most common packaging for this product is that of 12 x 125 grams, but there are different packaging possibilities available.
The renewed packaging line will be fully ready to pack the product this week, with the entry of the first shipments from South America. In addition to the packaging of blueberries, LBP also works on the packaging, sorting and repackaging of citrus and other exotic fruits and is also engaged in fruit ripening.
