More than 600 attendees participated in the meeting of the blueberry industry in Monticello

The meeting held in parallel halls and interconnected by a common commercial area was very intense in its programming, with talks and exhibitions that covered almost all aspects of interest to producers and exporters of both crops.

With great participation from the blueberry industry, and cherry as a guest crop, this Thursday April 13 el XXV International Seminar on Blueberries & Cherries at the Monticello Conference Center in Chile.

The conference was inaugurated by the agronomist engineer Felipe silva, president of the Chilean Blueberry Committee, who in his capacity as a businessman and industry participant, as leader of Zurgroup, called on Banks and private and state Funds to support the Chilean industry in its effort to recover positions in the international blueberry market.

The businessman also made a call to the industry itself, with the aim of continuing to improve practices at all stages of the production process, speed up the change of varieties and take care of the levels of competitiveness, in such a way that the quality of the Chilean fruit is the hallmark and differentiator in international markets and the true brand that prestige the country.

Many producers and exporters, along with national and international blueberry and cherry industry leaders, met at the Blueberries Consulting Seminar, the most important blueberry seminar in the country.

In the program participated more than 22 speakers and international experts, some exposing recently completed research and exclusive studies, for the benefit of the producers and agricultural companies of the cultivation of blueberries and cherries present.

The meeting was very intense in its programming, with talks and exhibitions that covered almost all aspects of interest to producers and exporters of both crops, always focused on improving practices with a view to lowering costs and improving the profitability of the activity, raising the quality levels of the fruit as an essential objective.
