Minister Ángel Manero will start the meeting of the blueberry industry in Lima

Specialists from different parts of the world will attend the International Seminar of Blueberries Consulting, in order to learn the main keys to Peru's success in the production of a complex crop with dynamic behavior.

The Minister of Agrarian Development and Irrigation of Peru, Ángel Manero Campos, will participate in the first day of the XXXIV International Blueberry Seminar what will be done this 12 and 13 March at the Lima Convention Center.

The Minister of State will open the meeting's program by participating in the panel discussion: “The blueberry industry, current status, strategies and trends”, where he will be able to share his vision and learn about the demands of the sector, as he will participate in the event together with the leaders of the sector, Gabriel Amaro, president of the Association of Agricultural Guilds of Peru, AGAP, and Miguel Bentín, president of the Association of Exporters and Producers of Blueberries of Peru, Proarándanos.

Discussion Panel
The panel discussion promises to be of great interest to Peruvian producers and exporters in the blueberry industry, as they have managed to be the first agricultural product to exceed USD 2000 billion in returns for the country and continue to show extraordinary growth in the production and quality of the fruit, so the topics of infrastructure, market diversification, dissemination and promotion of consumption, technical assistance and promotion of production, among other topics, will be discussed in a transparent manner in front of the audience of the meeting.

The Lima meeting takes place at the height of the Peruvian blueberry industry, so specialists from different parts of the world will attend the International Seminar on Blueberries Consulting, in order to understand the main keys to Peruvian success in the production of a complex crop with dynamic behavior.
Minister Manero's participation is a support for the blueberry industry and highlights a meeting that has been held annually in the city of Lima and has meant great support for the development of the industry and Peruvian producers.
