Peru: Cranberry exports reach US $ 120 million on 2016

In that sense, he indicated that there are currently blueberry plantations on the coast as in Chavimochic and Olmos, when it was expected that such a crop would only be installed in areas of higher climate where there are also facilities for said fruit, "he said.

On the other hand, Benites Ramos, said that currently our country only exports blueberries to the United States via plane and fumigates in said destination, however he said that his portfolio, through the National Agrarian Health Service (Senasa) is working with the Department of United States Agriculture (USDA) to allow us to carry out the previous process in Peru, which will allow us to take this product in ships in greater quantities and will generate greater output of the product.
