He indicated that according to figures from the United States Department of Commerce, for January-December 2015 shipments of blueberries and organic bananas from Peru to that country grew 321.4% and 74.2% respectively, in relation to 2014.
Cranberry exports went from US $ 12.6 million to US $ 53.1 million in the study period, and organic banana exports from US $ 24.8 million to US $ 43.2 million.
Other products demanded by the United States during 2015 were grapes, tangerines, asparagus and mangoes, experiencing growth in 2015 of 69.1%, 23.9%, 10.8% and 10.4%, respectively.
According to the commercial office of Peru in Washington DC (Ocex Washington DC), US buyers are already getting ready to be part of the 2016 Expoalimentaria, in view of the fact that Peruvian products continue to consolidate in quality and price in the food market. U.S.
