PMA Fruittrade will transform Santiago de Chile in the world capital of the fruit and vegetable industry for two days

The event has positioned itself as the meeting point of the sector, gathering more than 100 top-level exhibiting companies and with an attendance of more than 2.300 people.

Santiago de Chile 17 October of 2016 - During November 9 and 10, Chile will once again be the center of attention of the world fruit and vegetable sector, thanks to a new edition of PMA Fruittrade. This year the event will feature about 30 technical and commercial talks for different fruit species and markets, and a hundred exhibiting companies, the icing on the cake being an international business conference with the presence of important retail chains and supermarkets, both from Asia, as from Europe, from the United States and Latin America.

Speakers from seven countries

Throughout the years, PMA Fruittrade has been characterized by its wide range of technical and educational talks that seek to bring the topics of interest of the fruit world to Chile. More than 60 speakers from 7 countries, will be responsible for presenting topics of interest in the area of ​​economics, market variations, consumer demands and the latest trends in innovation and technology.

The buyers of the world gathered in Chile

The event hopes to gather, as in its past editions, a select group of buyers seeking to close commercial agreements with the participants of the business conference.

"In Europe, Asia and the United States, there are more than 1700 million inhabitants who are eager to consume the products of Chile", says the former president of FEDEFRUTA Ramón Achurra, inviting national producers.

The activity manages to gather more than 100 producers / exporters and 60 buyers from more than 20 countries worldwide, increasing the commercial possibilities of national producers / exporters and giving space for the generation of new business internationally, that is why that the event has the co-financing of the Ministry of Agriculture, through resources administered by ProChile since its creation.

This year PMA Fruittrade will have the presence of more than 100 leading companies in the fruit and vegetable industry and the agri-food chain. There will also be important financial entities and big brands that see in the activity an opportunity to get closer to the 2300 attendees.
