Export season of Chilean blueberries continues and does so with figures that exceed the shipments of last season

More than 110 thousand tons have been exported to the different destination markets to date

According to the Crop Report of the Chilean Blueberry Committee-ASOEX, blueberry outflows exceeded 1.000 tons in week 10, accumulating a total of 110.717 tons to date, exceeding what was projected for the total of this campaign.

Regarding organic blueberry exports, these are practically finished, with only 58 tons exported in week 10, and a cumulative total of 13.429 tons.

The south and south central zone continue to be harvested with the later varieties and with volumes that continue to fall. This week there were no reports of rain in the southern zone, so everything proceeds normally.

As for frozen blueberries, stocks in the US of the month of January were placed in 81.080 tons, 7% less than the same month of 2018. For its part, Chile's exports reached 3.248 tons in February of 2019, slightly below the 3.414 tons of the same month of 2018 (-5%).
