One of the many technologies featured at this edition will be Vision 4.0 AI, the latest evolution of UNITEC's sorting platforms: an artificial intelligence-powered system that detects and separates external defects with unprecedented precision. The result: perfectly graded fruit and vegetables, greater consistency in standards, faster processes, and access to more profitable markets.

The technologies we are presenting in Madrid have a specific objective: to build consumer loyalty toward fruit produced in Europe, particularly in Spain and Italy. We don't limit ourselves to processing lines, selection/grading: we look at the entire project, from the field to the final palletizing.

We are developing an intelligence system capable of connecting the fruit and vegetable production center directly to the field, providing useful information to improve quality grading right in the field. AI can thus be used not only in the processing phase but also during harvesting, with a connection to the GDO and geared toward complete end-consumer satisfaction.
We focus on robotic harvesting solutions for apples, peaches, damson plums, and kiwis, designed and built with a corporate culture that combines innovation and concrete results for our customers.

Many new features regarding internal quality classification systems, using Artificial Intelligence, developed entirely by the company's R&D department, dedicated to specific fruits in the UNIQ range, presented at Fruit Attraction.

UNICAL 222 BLUEBERRY SAMPLE SIZER
The UNICAL 222 blueberry sampler is available in a newly designed, single-track version. It provides a preview of a batch of product, helping to monitor the average quality of batches from different producers and, consequently, determine how to process the fruit.

UNI SMART PACKER – ROBOT FOR CLAMSHELL AND BASKET PACKAGING
UNI ROBOTICS, a UNITEC brand, presents an innovative solution for packaging, a phase in which the use of robotics is increasingly common. Designed for clamshells and heat-sealed baskets, UNI SMART PACKER ensures the lid remains closed and minimizes the use of personnel for repetitive and high-intensity tasks, while ensuring consistent production. This system combines efficiency and gentleness, protecting the package during handling. Furthermore, its flexibility allows it to quickly switch between formats and adapt to different clamshell and heat-sealed basket sizes.

UNI SMART TRAY FILLER
Automatic filler that allows packaging different varieties of fruit, such as apples, peaches, nectarines, and apples, in trays or in trays inside the box. The fruit is picked and placed in the packaging trays by an innovative robot with a pick-and-place function, capable of modulating the picking/placing coordinates based on the size and format of the packaging being processed.

UNICAL 300 TECHNOLOGY with Plum Vision 4.0 AI
UNITEC has innovated once again in its damson plum grading solutions with the Plum Vision 4.0 AI system, which uses in-house developed Artificial Intelligence models to grade with maximum precision. The system detects defects more accurately, including shape, size, and color.
