Chilean blueberry promotions land in Europe

Last week, the Chilean Blueberry Committee, ASOEX and ProChile, developed promotional actions for Chilean blueberries in the United Kingdom (London) and Germany (Hamburg). The activities included informative workshops and cooking shows for bloggers, press media and freelance journalists.

It should be noted that the activities were supported by the Chilean embassies in Germany and the United Kingdom, with the participation of the Commercial Attachées of Chile: Ignacio Fernández in the United Kingdom and Diego Torres in Germany.

“This campaign in Europe, as well as in China and Korea, we are promoting the versatility offered by the Chilean blueberry to use it in different preparations, and consumption occasions, as is the case with a healthy snack. In addition, we are also strengthening alliances with other export products in our country. For example, in Germany, the meeting was co-funded by the salmon company “Aqua Chile” and the national pisco ”Malpaso, which allowed us to make preparations based on these products,” said Charif Christian Carvajal, Marketing Director of ASOEX for Asia and Europe.

Carvajal pointed out that this type of action enhances publications in specialized media such as “food & lifestyle”, as well as national circulation, and of course, social networks.

Some of the media that participated in the events were: London Evening Standard, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Express, MailOnline, Press Association, Balance Magazine, The Grocer and Fresh Produce Journal, among others.
