New subjects and actors join the 3 ° International Seminar of blueberries of the 28 of April in Chile

New themes to be developed by the exponents and new actors join the 3rd International Blueberry Seminar, "Chile, leader of the cranberry industry: New competitors, new challenges, new strategies", which will be developed this April 28 at the Monticello Center in Santiago de Chile and organized by Blueberries Consulting in conjunction with AGQ International.

In this opportunity the condition and quality of the fruit will be the main theme to be developed in the papers and through which will pass almost all the other topics to be exhibited, which will complement, to have a more finished vision, with research on increasing yields and quality of fruit, preharvest factors that affect postharvest, importance of pollination, rejuvenation of plants, genetic improvement, relationship between nutrients, synergies and antagonisms, interpretation of nutritional analyzes, ways of applying calcium and its interrelation with postharvest behavior of the fruit, postharvest technologies, among others.

Along with this, a study of the behavior of the US market in the last 10 years will be presented, interpreting the movements of fruit from Chile and other countries, and a commercial and quality analysis of Chilean blueberries and competing countries, with the purpose to have a complete and informed vision regarding the future prospects of Chilean blueberries in the US market. and the world.

In addition to the new topics, new actors are also integrated, and some companies from the world of precision agriculture make their entrance to this 3 ° International Seminar on blueberries, with its various tools and technological tools regarding smart irrigation; better use of the soil and georeferencing; satellite technology; and of course, the different types of drones with special applications to obtain greater productivity in the agricultural crop.
