Alfredo Lira Chirif, former CEO of Cerro Prieto, assumes vice presidency at Camposol
The agro-exporter Camposol announced the appointment of Alfredo Lira Chirif as vice president of Business Units of the firm. As it is remembered, he served as general manager of agricultural Cerro Prieto between June 2012 and June of this year.
In his new position, he will report directly to the CEO of Camposol, José Antonio Gómez Bazán, as responsible for the margin of the business units of avocado, tangerine, lemon, grape, mango, Cherry, frozen, and the management of the processing plant the company, with the aim of achieving short, medium and long-term goals.
Lira Chirif He is an agricultural engineer graduated from the National Agrarian University of La Molina, and has a specialization in Agricultural Administration from the Adolfo Ibañez University of Chile.
He has more than 30 years of experience in the agroindustrial sector, in which he has held various positions as production manager at Inagro Sur and Comercializadora de Productos Agrícolas (COPRA), and general manager at Almidones y Derivados, Agropecuaria Guanábano, Transcamin, Intragicola, Uniagro Peru Corporation, Agricultural Services and Logistics (SLA). He was also a founding partner at Viveros El Álamo and executive director at Agroindustrias AIB.
During his years as CEO at Agrícola Cerro Prieto for Peru and Colombia, led the internationalization process of the agro-export company. Since last July, the The new general manager of said company is Christian Broders Odiaga.
