Peruvian fresh produce group Camposol forecasts a 22% increase in sales in the first half of 2025.
The Peruvian fresh produce group Camposol has revealed its preliminary results for the first half of 2025, with sales and EBITDA increasing.
Sales volumes grew 38 percent year-over-year to 55.162 tons, the company said, and sales increased 22 percent to US$222 million.
EBITDA increased 9 percent to US$67 million during the six-month period, although net income fell 17 percent to US$16 million.
By product, blueberry volumes grew 50,2 percent year-over-year to 55.200 tons.
Sales totaled US$162,2 million, an increase of 27,6 percent, while gross profit increased 60,9 percent, Camposol said.
"This strong performance was supported by a targeted pruning strategy that concentrated more production in the first half of the year, strengthening our position as a supplier throughout the year," he stated.
The mango segment had a “solid start to 2025,” Camposol noted, while the grape category also enjoyed a strong start to the year, with volumes reaching 5.100 tons, approximately 5,5 times the volume sold in the corresponding period of 2024.
Ricardo Naranjo, CEO of Camposol, highlighted the strength of the company's performance in the first quarter.
“The first half of 2025 confirmed the solidity of our strategy and our disciplined execution,” he said.
“We reported an EBITDA margin of 30 percent and maintained our net debt-to-EBITDA ratio at 2,59x, the fourth consecutive quarter below our 3,5x threshold, underscoring the progress we have made in strengthening our financial profile.
“Operationally, blueberries continued to strengthen our leadership as a supplier throughout the year, with production now extending to almost every month of the year,” Naranjo continued.
“Mangoes delivered profitability under normalized conditions, grapes achieved improved yields and stronger margins, and our avocado campaign is underway with disciplined execution.
"These achievements highlight our team's commitment and our focus on building a more resilient and diversified business that generates long-term value for all stakeholders," he added.
