In fact, Fruit Attraction will be the occasion to present the technological solutions more recent, completely designed and developed by the Group's internal Research and Development Team, for the classification of the external and internal quality of the fruit mostly grown on Spanish soil, but also those innovations studied to allow the Horticultural Centers to expand and improve your business, thanks to a increased efficiency in the different phases of the processing.

First, the innovative technologies of UNI Robotics, the new UNITEC division specialized in smart robotic solutionss, which was born with the objective of responding to the demands of the Horticultural Centers around the world in relation to the reduction of fixed costs and workforce optimization in processing, through the use of anthropomorphic robots among others, capable of guaranteeing a strong increased efficiency and a considerable increase in precision in the handling of the fruit and its packaging.

In particular, at the Madrid fair it will be possible to see two technologies born in the house of UNITEC, designed and developed entirely by the R&D team of the UNI Robotic division:

• UNI INTELLIGENT WEIGHT SOLUTION: robotic technology capable of intelligently regulate the filling of kiwi boxes according to the established weight. Thanks to this system, in the event that the weight of the box is not in accordance with the initially defined one, the robot intervenes by removing or adding fruit to reach the desired weight of the box, without ever giving away weight in the containers.
• UNI INTELLIGENT PUNNET PACK: the innovative technological system that allows to hold the baskets two by two, positioning them inside the box until they are completely filled. This system allows totally eliminate manual packaging, increasing efficiency and consenting to an important cost reduction.

But not only robotics, also a lot of attention and continuous innovation in the field of external quality classification and above all intern of the fruit. It will be precisely at Fruit Attraction, in fact, that a world first in the field of internal quality classification: UNIQ Blueberry, UNITEC vision system dedicated to the classification of the internal quality of blueberries.

UNITEC facilities equipped with the technology UNIQ Blueberry permiten classify the internal quality of blueberries with great reliability, fully protecting the integrity of each fruit. The vision system UNIQ Blueberry completes the range of technologies dedicated to the quality classification of blueberries developed by UNITEC and, combined with the technology Blueberry Vision 3, guarantees a comprehensive classification of the quality of this delicate fruit. Blueberry Vision 3 It is capable of visualizing 100% of the surface of each blueberry and its high resolution cameras help to classify blueberries based on multiple independent parameters - soft fruit, external quality, shape defects, as well as optical size and color - with the highest precision and according to a plurality of combinations.
