National entities of the arandanero sector met in Concordia

At the headquarters of APAMA, they advanced in the organization of the World Blueberry Congress and addressed specific issues of the productive sector.
The entities that make up the blueberry production sector in Argentina met in Concordia at the headquarters of the Association of Blueberry Producers of the Mesopotamia Argentina (APAMA), a local entity that served as hostess. To the meeting came the holders of the Argentine Committee of Blueberries (ABC) and representatives of the Association of Producers of Blueberries of Tucumán (APRATUC). For APAMA, its president, Omar Chiarello, attended with members of the Board of Directors.
The agenda of topics was very extensive and included, among others, the organization of the IBO Summit, the World Blueberry Congress, which advances with great interest on the part of the sponsors and enrolled from all over the world. The meeting will be hosted by Concordia, in the Convention Center, during the month of September.
Among the confirmed sponsors are Extraberries, Hortifrut Expofresh, Gamorel, Berries del Sol, MR Berry, Basf, Trust Cargo International, Jet Cargo, Maersk, Textile Kopruch, Agrinet, Newport Cargo, Treviplast, Sübsin, Rossi Cargo Agents Uruguay, Ing. Alejandro Pannunzio SA, and Unitec Group.
Another of the topics discussed were the commercial relations with the United States and the next campaign. It is expected that a bilateral meeting will be held between the Ministry of Agribusiness and its counterpart in that country with the objective of strengthening the commercialization of blueberries from Argentina.
Finally, in specific technical issues of the sector, the representatives discussed the issue referred to the maximum residue limits. In this regard, they reported that a meeting is planned with SENASA - the Argentine Health Service - to propose the registration of a greater number of active principles that favor the activity.
