Mexico is enjoying the business boom and the internationalization of its blueberry, after becoming the fifth largest exporter of the fruit in the world and consolidating its market share. 

These results could not have been achieved without the arduous efforts of the sector. The technical work of nurserymen, producers and suppliers with non-chill varieties has allowed them to develop a modern industry with great growth potential.

To support the export of the Mexican berry, Blueberries Consulting once again organizes the XXVI edition of the International Blueberries Mexico Seminar 2023 in Guadalajara.

The commitment of the organizing company to the Mexican blueberry industry is already known, accompanying the sector in challenging times such as when in 2021 it organized the first face-to-face meeting of producers after the pandemic.

During this period, Mexico faced challenges such as the shortage of truckers and rising costs, but the coordination of the union and the competitive advantage of the country allowed the growth of the relevance of this industry in the international market.

Betting on improvement

Despite having a planted area similar to that of the state of Michoacán, it is Jalisco that, due to the high yield of its varieties, produces more than 50% of the total blueberries exported by Mexico in one season.

This being the heart of Mexican production, we meet as always in Guadalajara but in one new location: the Hard Rock Hotel. The distribution of the commercial area and the conference room have been redesigned so that attendees can enjoy the attention of the various companies sponsoring the event and comfortably observe the high-level technical-commercial talks that characterize the events organized by Blueberries Consulting.
