California Giant anticipates a strong supply of blueberries for July

The next shipment from the Pacific Northwest arrives at a key time for fresh berry consumption and allows us to project a season with volume, promotions and greater display presence.

As the summer berry season progresses, California Giant Berry Farms is preparing for its annual transition to the growing region. blueberries of the Pacific Northwest (PNW). “Our Pacific Northwest growing regions are developing very well, and we anticipate an exceptional harvest just in time for the height of summer,” Smith said. “The region officially begins its harvest between mid- and late June, and the outlook for July is very strong. We are encouraging retailers to secure their July promotions now and maximize shelf space to capture strong consumer demand and drive category growth.”

Along with the offer of blueberries conventional and organic, the program of blueberries Jumbo GIANT™, which includes fruit 20 mm or larger, continues to show strong retail performance, supporting premium pricing and high-impact displays.
