On December 27, Agrovision Agriculture Technology (Yunnan) Co. Ltd. (维先农业科技（云南）有限公司) started harvesting blueberries at its orchard in Midu County, located in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan. The picking season will continue until May 2025, with total output estimated at 500 metric tons, valued at 22 million Chinese yuan (3,01 million U.S. dollars).

According to local media reports , Agrovision Agriculture Technology (Yunnan) Co. Ltd. signed a investment agreement with Midu County in November 2023. In March 2024, the company started building a modern berry industrial park in the area. The first phase of the project, covering approximately 33 hectares, was completed in July 2024 with the transplantation of 110.000 blueberry seedlings. This represents the first berry production base in Yunnan established by Agrovision Group, the parent company of Agrovision Agriculture Technology (Yunnan) Co. Ltd. The second and third phases are currently in the research and evaluation stages, and expected The total project area is expected to be expanded to 100 hectares and the total investment is estimated at 120 million yuan (16,4 million US dollars).
