SAG begins the application period for the authorization of exporters of Chilean fruit and vegetable products that wish to export to the Russian Federation

The Agricultural and Livestock Service, SAG, informs that the period of application for the authorization of the exporters of articles of Chilean horticultural products that wish to export to the Russian Federation began.

This measure is part of the agreement between the SAG and Rosselkhoznadzor (Russian Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Service) on the safety of production of plant origin exported by Chile to the Russian Federation, which establishes that Every six months an official list of the exporting companies that will market fresh fruit and vegetables with Russia must be sent.

In order to prepare the payroll, the interested exporting companies must postulate fulfilling the following requirements:

- Register as an exporter in the SAG Agricultural Registration System (SRA), registering all the species that you wish to trade with the Russian Federation.

- Send to the Sub-Department of Phytosanitary Certification of the Division of Agricultural and Forestry Protection of the Central SAG (Av. Bulnes No. 140, Santiago), a Letter of commitment in original (no copy of any kind is accepted) and dated to the current year .

The period of application of companies for the first semester will be from 5 until the 31 of January of 2015. Subsequently, it will proceed to prepare the list of companies that have postulated fulfilling the requirements indicated in the previous points.
