AGROFEST 2025: Peru's premier meeting point for modern agriculture
Lima, May 2025-In its fourth edition, the AGROFEST 2025 It has established itself as the main meeting point for stakeholders in the agricultural sector. Organized by the Association of Agricultural Producers' Guilds of Peru (AGAP), the event will take place from June 11 to 14 at Sports Center No. 3 of Videna-IPD, and is expected to receive more visitors interested in the future of modern agriculture than the previous edition.
"At AGAP, we reaffirm our commitment to strengthening Peruvian agriculture through AGROFEST 2025, a space for meeting, knowledge, new trends, proposals, challenges, innovation, networking, and business meetings that will bring together producers, entrepreneurs, small producers, agricultural exporters, associations, suppliers of goods and services, national authorities, and representatives of international organizations," he said. gabriel amaro, president of AGAP.
One of the most popular events is the 2025 Peruvian Agricultural Congress, which this year will feature the participation of professionals from both the national and international private sector. The Fourth Summit on Agricultural Public Policies will also be held, with representatives from the central government and the private sector who will share progress and challenges in the sector.
Likewise, for the third consecutive year, the International Agricultural University Congress (CIUA) will be held, a day dedicated to the academic community. Professors from the country's leading universities will participate, as well as international delegations who will present new agricultural trends to students studying programs related to the sector.
Another major attraction will be the Grand Market, a returning space to bring together regional governments through their entrepreneurs, associations, and emblematic crops. Each region will showcase its agricultural offerings and its contribution to the country's economic development, strengthening sustainable commercial alternatives.
The Business Roundtable will once again be one of the key pillars of AGROFEST. After generating more than 165 meetings and S/ 7.9 million in potential deals in 2024, it will be revitalized this year, expanding its scope to the three-day event. It will feature the participation of supranational entities such as the FAO and the support of trade offices from various embassies, facilitating contact between small businesses and strategic buyers.
To highlight the best practices that drive more responsible and forward-thinking agriculture, the 4th edition of the AGAP 2025 Sustainability Awards will be held, highlighting the most innovative efforts of the agroindustry in three categories: Social Inclusion, Innovation and Technology, and Environmental Care.
