With a visit to the Unitec facilities in the Italian town of Lugo, the activities of the Blueberry Arena of Macfrut 2024 began.

The different sections of the Unitec company operate on an area of almost 10 hectares, with large workshops in which all areas of mechatronics are developed, including robotic technology and artificial intelligence in its machinery to support fruit growing and agricultural activity in general.
The novelty is the new Unitec building that is entirely dedicated to the operation of the R&D section and, in addition to the company's engineers, students from the University of Bologna participate, through a collaboration agreement between both entities.
The Unitec manager led the Blueberries Consulting delegation to all the departments and sections of the company, explaining in detail the entire production process that the company carries out entirely in Italy, which is its seal of guarantee and reason for trust for its customers. customers.
The great growth that Unitec has had in these two decades is a consequence of its correct business model and its close relationship with customers.
Visitors were able to learn about robotics, 3D printing, the large spaces for the assembly of its machinery, the modern administration rooms, the technological R&D center, the large restaurant for its employees, the nursery for the babies of the personnel and even housing units for workers who come from distant destinations.
