March 30, launch of the INIA Book / Bulletin:

Blueberry quality: physiological and technological bases for harvest and postharvest management

This book / bulletin is called to be a great contribution for producers and participants in the cultivation of blueberries in Chile and other countries, because it addresses the different aspects that directly and indirectly affect the quality, firmness and good condition of arrival of the fruit to international markets, a key factor for the Chilean fruit industry and that of any country.

This Thursday, April 30, starting at 9.00:XNUMX am, in the INIA Raihuén auditorium in Villa Alegre, in the Maule region, the book / bulletin will be presented “Quality in blueberries: physiological and technological bases for harvest and postharvest management”, carried out by the editors Bruno Defilippi and Pablo Ulloa and an Editorial Committee made up of Daniela Olivares Zapata, Engineer in Molecular Biotechnology, Dr. Abel González Gelvez, Agricultural Engineer, M.Sc. Reinaldo Campos Vargas, Agricultural Engineer, Ph.D. and Jorge Esquivel Manterola, Agricultural Engineer, M.Sc.

The renowned researchers and specialists built and carried out this text based on the investigative work developed in the Technological Package for Harvest and Postharvest Management of New Blueberry Replacement Varieties, financed by the Technological Program for Export Fruit Growing (PTEC code FS 66641 ), of the Corporation for the Promotion of Production (Corfo).
