Camposol celebrates the arrival of the first Peruvian blueberries of the season in Beijing

The blueberries left Peru at the end of May and arrived at the port of Shekou on June 27.

Camposol and its partner Shanghai Pengsheng Industrial Co. Ltd. formally marked the beginning of the 2022/2023 Peruvian blueberry season in China on July 3 with a product launch ceremony at the Gaobeidian Xinfadi Fruit & Vegetable Trading Center.

This arrival constitutes the first shipment of blueberries from Camposol to China for the 2022/2023 season.

The blueberries left Peru at the end of May and arrived at the port of Shekou on June 27. The shipment is of the Ventura variety, a giant blueberry native to the Americas and one of the main varieties currently grown in Peru.

“At Camposol we continue to invest and work to bring the best products from Peru to the world and we are convinced that this is an excellent starting point for this 2022-2023 campaign. This first shipment is not only important for the company but also for the country,” said Harold Mongrut, general manager of operations, Peru.
