Chancay Megaport: First Peruvian blueberries of the season arrived in China in less than 30 days.
The Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that China received the first shipment of Peruvian blueberries for the 2025-2026 season. The shipment took less than 10 days on the regular route, which used to take between 33 and 35 days compared to other terminals.
In this way, the Peruvian Foreign Ministry emphasized that the multipurpose port of Chancay fulfills one of its logistical functions: reducing the number of days it takes to ship a Peruvian product to Asian markets.

At the event in Shanghai, the strategic value of the Chancay Megaport was highlighted, as the infrastructure boosts trade between China and Peru. This is explained by the reduction in export transit times. Agricultural products therefore reach Asian markets fresher.
The ceremony was also attended by the Consul of Peru in Shanghai, David Gamarra, who highlighted the opportunity to increase the volume of domestic fruit exports due to Chancay's greater logistical capacity compared to other Peruvian ports.
