Camposol accelerates its blueberry shipments to China and consolidates its Kai Péi Guǒ brand
Camposol launched its campaign blueberries 2026/27 with strong progress towards China, one of its strategic markets in Asia. Between weeks 18 and 25, the company shipped 342 tons of blueberry fresh to that destination, a growth of 631% compared to the same period of the previous season.
This performance adds to the position achieved by the company during the 2025/26 season, when it exported 9.020 tons of blueberries to Asia, equivalent to 16,5% of Peruvian blueberry exports to the region. Of that volume, 7.564 tons were destined for China, which accounted for 84% of Asian shipments. blueberry from Camposol.
The start of the campaign also coincides with the consolidation of 凯沛果 —Kai Péi Guǒ—, the brand that Camposol officially presented on July 21 in a ceremony held at the Shouheng International Center for Agricultural Products, in Gaobeidian, and which was developed specifically to connect with the Chinese consumer.
“China has become one of Camposol’s most strategic markets, and Origin represents our long-term commitment to bringing the best of what we do to this market. As we begin the 2026/27 season, we remain focused on delivering consistent quality to Chinese consumers, while continuing to invest—through programs like Origin—in the next generation of blueberries“said Ricardo Naranjo, CEO of Camposol.
A brand created for the Chinese market
The name 凯沛果 is composed of three characters. “凯” symbolizes victory and vitality, and evokes “Cam” from Camposol; “沛” conveys abundance, fullness, and energy, and incorporates the water radical as a symbol of life and nourishment; while “果” means fruit.
The identity thus retains elements associated with Camposol and incorporates an expression linked to health and vitality in the Chinese market.
Its development considered more than 300 name proposals, linguistic validations with native speakers of six dialects, and prior legal verification.
“The identity we developed specifically for the Chinese market is called ‘凯沛果’. It was a rigorous process. We didn’t improvise. We invested. Because China deserves that,” explained Luis Miguel Baanante, China Manager of Camposol.

Quality and logistics for a demanding market
Camposol's strategy also relies on crop and post-harvest management to meet the preferences of Chinese consumers. The company emphasizes that its operations team works to ensure firmness and shelf life in every batch.
According to Camposol, local retailers have highlighted the good preservation, stable quality and balance between sweetness and acidity of their blueberries.
Camposol's presence in China dates back to 2018, the year the company opened its subsidiary in the country. Since then, it has built a sales network across various channels, gradually expanding its reach from mainland China into the Asian market.
Logistics is also part of this strategy. According to Camposol, the Port of Chancay has allowed them to reduce shipping times to China, and the company was among the first Peruvian companies to export. blueberries through that route.
In November 2025, the company signed a letter of intent with COSCO Shipping Lines Peru to strengthen logistics efficiency and quality control of shipments to China.

Varietal innovation and Origin program
The strategy toward China is also linked to varietal innovation. In December 2025, Camposol secured US$400 million in financing, part of which supports the Origen genetic improvement program, launched in February 2026.
This program seeks to address some of the main challenges in the sector: productivity, consistent quality and adaptation to the most demanding markets, based on a single origin model.
The company plans to continue incorporating new varieties of blueberries and strengthening its presence in China under Kai Pei Guǒ, combining brand, logistics, quality and innovation to meet market expectations.
Camposol produces and markets fresh fruit from operations in Peru, Colombia, Uruguay and Chile, and has distribution offices in North America, Europe and Asia.
