Sharing detailed information on each local reality is a permanent practice in the industry and is one of the factors that explains the great development and growth of the international blueberry industry.

In this perspective, a complete analysis of the global blueberry industry and the international market will be carried out during the different days of the International Blueberry Month, which from Tuesday, August 16, will be carried out online, so it will be available for those interested in participating from anywhere in the world.

Latin America  

On the first day, on Tuesday, August 16, the Latin American reality of the blueberry will be addressed in depth, in a specialized talk by the international analyst and director of Top Info Marketing SA, Betina Ernst, which will serve as an informed context for the following talks. , which will be dedicated specifically to the “Situation of blueberry production. Challenges, opportunities and future perspectives”, both from the Peruvian industry, which will be in charge of the specialist Federico Beltrán, general manager of Terra Business SAC, and from the Mexican industry, which will be explained in detail by the strategic perspective of Juan José Flores, director from Aneberries Mexico.

Europe and part of Africa

On the day corresponding to Tuesday, August 23, the European reality will be analyzed in depth, which is undergoing permanent modifications due to the high competition of the supplier countries of the different continents, mainly Africans, and the sustained growth of the demand and the rates consumption, in addition to the new associated environmental and health standards.

A complete panorama of the industry of the old continent and the European market will be analyzed in the talk: "Current state and projections of the blueberry industry in Europe", by Hans Liekens, manager of the value chain and retail sales of Sekoya.

On the same day, and beforehand, everything related to the current state and projections of the interesting and modern blueberry industry in Morocco will be discussed from different perspectives, a talk that will be given by Amine Benani, president of the Moroccan berry producers .

The other aspects of cultivation

This complete look at the reality and projections of the global blueberry industry in its different facets and regions will be complemented on Thursdays by numerous talks on the technical and agronomic aspects of the crop, such as the different facets in the post-harvest of the fruit, the new management systems in substrates, the new solutions to combat water stress in plants and the different variants of nutrition and foliar supplements in the crop, among other related topics.
